The TR50 rail system, when combined with the virtual tracking head CD15A or CD20A, enhances the head’s capabilities by adding linear motion, providing users with dynamic camera movement. The rail system’s positioning unit collects data from the head and rail sensors, calculates the real-time position and angle of the camera within the on-site coordinate system, and uploads this data to the server. Notably, the system can provide the dynamic position of the lens’s field-of-view apex (eyepoint).

The system offers user-friendly operation methods and menus, allowing users to determine the rail system’s position and orientation within the on-site coordinate system in 3 to 5 minutes. These positioning parameters can be stored, and the system will automatically load them upon restarting, eliminating the need for repeated positioning operations.

The TR50 rail system is easy to assemble and disassemble without requiring additional tools. The rails are equipped with wedge blocks for leveling adjustments. The dolly includes a locking mechanism for secure positioning.

After being packed, the dolly and rails occupy minimal space, making them easy to store and transport.
